Travel to Kenya requires a valid passport. Any additional entry requirements are shared with registered participants — always confirm current requirements with an official government source before booking travel.

Yes. A deposit secures your participation — $728 by debit/credit (Klarna and Afterpay available where supported) or $700 by Zelle. After your deposit is received and confirmed, Shorter Route Travel will send your travel payment link and payment-plan information.

Yes. Many participants join solo and immediately become part of a supportive global sisterhood.

Mission participants come with a servant heart — willing to work alongside local partners, respect the community and culture, honor the itinerary, and participate in group experiences. Specific project details are shared in advance.

Every application is reviewed personally by our selection committee. We evaluate the strength of your proposed message, the audience impact, your recording readiness, your willingness to help promote, and how prepared you are for the placement you selected. This is not pay-to-play.

Most applicants hear back within 7 to 14 days. If we need more information — including a brief interview for the Global Impact panel — we'll reach out directly.

We accept clean, professional recordings from a studio, a quiet home or office setting, or a live-delivered session. Good lighting, clear audio, a solid internet connection, and a distraction-free background are required. We provide a checklist and a technical check before your recording is due.

Yes. Applicants who prefer to record in-studio may indicate that on the application. Studio recording sessions in Atlanta are limited and coordinated in advance.

15 to 20 minutes. Global Impact Thought Leaders also participate live on the Global Leadership Panel streamed into the Summit in Kenya.

Premier and Global Visibility Thought Leaders may deliver a prerecorded 15 to 20 minute presentation. Global Impact Thought Leaders additionally participate live on the panel — no international travel required.

Thought Leaders are asked to actively share their placement — the Summit provides ready-to-post graphics, copy, and email templates. Global Visibility and Global Impact placements receive amplified promotional support in exchange for a stronger promotional partnership.
